REST Assured, You have Already Done the Work
Atlassian Tools are ultra configurable - by you. Most if not all of your work and data is exposed through the REST APIs you are already paying for.
Effective API usage not only provides a reporting platform, it allows you to connect to other Applications outside of Atlassian.
If you have Jira, you still have Issues.
That was a common phrase - even a tee shirt not long ago. Changing the term from issue to Work Item makes a lot of sense. But you conceptually still have issues.
Why is this important? Because no matter what process you follow or plugins you use, under the hood, you're manipulating issues that have dates, status, and custom fields. The best Admins will have a good grasp of the JIRA Core Entity Relationship Diagram. (ERD)
