In General
Prerequesite - an API Token
- To use our reporting or extract tools, you will need an API token you should be able to create yourself from your profile.
REST Easy
- Our extracts use the Atlassian REST Endpoints for data sourcing.
- We only use "GET" endpoints so there is no risk of modifying your data by accident.
- All of the coding is done in power query. There is never VBA in our files.
- Our API interfaces use YOUR user Id. Atlassian provides the same user based security through the REST API that is in place when you are accessing things through their application.

Parameters
- JQL (or a filter Id) to establish the universe of work items to be extracted.
- Fields (Standard list provided)
Scope
- This version extracts the list of work items and work item fields.
- A second version allows for extraction of details such as Worklogs, Changelogs, or comments.
